Hi Nigel,

First off - you do a great job here - thank you.

The manual you have here seems to be great, even though it's an early draft, I've been looking for a manual like this, concerning the USP/USP-V platform and the HiCommand Software suite - will follow it with interest.

I've been working HDS storage arrays now for about 10 years and have been through a number of migrations between storage systems and work daily with challenges concerning performance/availability and so forth. Currently I'm working on moving data from traditional LDEVs to VVOLS in HDP Pools using HTSM to to the trick.

The HTSM software works great once you get used to its way of working (which might take a while) however I've stumbled on an annoying thing regarding the LUSE volumes I have, it seems like I'm unable to use HTSM to move these volumes to HDP pools for reasons unknown. The LUSE concept doesn't apply to the HDP pools and therefore I cannot do a traditional movement of these volumes (i.e. creating a similar LUSE volume as target). If you have any clues please let me know.

Have a great day
